Roundcube Webmail Out of Office Message OOO

Login to your webmail (examples: webmail.mailserver.com, mailserver.com/webmail)
Use the same username and password like in your Mail Account configured.
If you don’t know your password anymore and you use a Mac you can use the Keychain (Application in the Utilitys Folder) to find your password again.

 

When you are logged in klick on the Preference Button (German „Einstellungen“)

 

Klick on „Filter“

And add a new Filter with the plus symbol

ToDo
– Add Filter Name
– choose „all Messages“
– choose „answer with message“
– Add the message content
– Add the message subject
– click on „add all email adresses“
– save the filter

 

Check if the Filter appears in the filter list and if you get a „successful message“

 

If you want to deactivate the OOO again you have to give the tick at the bottom

Windows Domain Local Login

If you need to login to a Domain machine with you local user you can use .\ instead of you computername.

example:
computername: win-10
local user: admin

classic login: win10\admin
easy login: .\admin

Mac System Integrity Protection Enable and Disable

How to Turn off System Integrity Protection in Mac OS X El Capitan and Mac OS X Sierra

1. Reboot your Mac
2. While booting press the CMD + R Key (hold it until you see the Apple logo)
3. On the top you will find the utilities menu there you can choose Terminal.
4. Now you can enable or disable the System Integrity Protection

5. After changing this you have to reboot the mac.

 

System Integrity Protection includes protection for these parts of the system:

  • /System
  • /usr
  • /bin
  • /sbin
  • Apps that are pre-installed with OS X

Paths and apps that third-party apps and installers can continue to write to include:

  • /Applications
  • /Library
  • /usr/local

DynDns Zyxel USG

If you want to use DynDNS with your Zyxel USG you have to create an account (LINK) and find your account settings in your Profil. (direkt Link to you Profil).

The important informations are now your „Username“ and the „Updater Client Key“.

On your USG you will find the DDNS Settings in the Management and Network Section. (see Screenshot)

Choose your DDNS Type. (in our Case DynDNS)
Type in your „Username“ and the „Updater Client Key“. If you have a Firewall with 2 Wan Ports don’t forget to choose the right one.
Check if you have the same settings like in the screenshot. Enable the service.

 

Check online at DynDNS your LOG if everything is working. (direkt LINK to you LOG)
